Our Traditional Locket Engraving Service is available on most metal lockets (Sterling Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, Stainless Steel).

For Centuries, people have added meaningful inscriptions to their lockets.   Often with short, personal messages of love, dedications of loyalty, with special dates or phrases or even with small artworks that relate to the special photograph or item that is enclosed in the locket.

To Order:

1. 1. Decide what you would like to have engraved on your Locket by checking through our price guide (below), engraving options, Design Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions for Engraving a Locket.  If your engraving is text only, please let us know your preferred font.
   2. Email  contact @TheEngravingVan.co.uk (or come and see us in person at one of our Engraving Van Stops) with clear photographs of your Locket, letting us know the type of metal and insurance value of your jewellery, and a description of what you would like to have engraved on it.
   3. Look out for an email from us (or in person, we can tell you) where we will confirm whether your engraving request is suitable for your jewellery and our machines, and we will send an invoice with a link for payment and we will send you the address to send your jewellery to.
   4. If you request is approved and you would like to go ahead with your order, make sure you have read all of our terms and conditions and repairs and refund policies and then Make payment of the invoice which will confirm your order.
   5. Package your jewellery securely and post to the address detailed in your confirmation email, using a postal service that is insured for the value of your jewellery.  We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery.  Or bring it to us in person at one of The Engraving Van Stops.  Our upcoming stops can be found here.

Next Steps.

Keep a lookout for an email which will be your draft engraving proof.  Request any changes if necessary and once you are happy, approve the draft.  Your engraving will then be ready for collection or postal dispatch within 7 days.  If your jewellery also needs re-plating (for example, for white gold items), this will add another 7 days onto collection or dispatch date.

Postage fees are extra.  We send all jewellery insured and tracked via Royal Mail Special Delivery unless requested otherwise (Free collection is available at The Engraving Van stops).
